ETI
This report contains a breakdown of the amount of ETI calculated per employee per pay period. This report will have columns showing ETI Calculated and Claimed and ETI Calculated but not Claimed. It also details the employees’ actual monthly remuneration and the applicable minimum wage. An employee may still have ETI calculated if the remuneration amount displayed is lower than the minimum wage if the 160-hour gross-up rule applies.
For more information on this rule and ETI in general, please see the ETI help page.
You can view the ETI calculation per employee using the ETI Trace. Read more on the EMP201 help page.
To download the report, go to Reports > Employment Tax Incentive (ETI) and select the relevant filters/options.
When choosing a Date Range, you can do so either by typing in the start and end dates or by selecting them from the calendar. When selecting dates from the calendar, click a specific day after selecting a month or year.
You can pull the report by Pay Frequency and/or Pay Point by selecting the relevant options. By default, they will all be selected. If you are using pay points, there is also an option to Group by Pay Point, which allows you to pull the report for the entire company but have the information split by pay point.
You can also choose which Employees to include in the report. Again, by default, all employees are selected. If you want a report for only one or a few employees:
- Click the Employees filter.
- Click None.
- Tick only the names of the employees you'd like to include.
If you would like to include some of the fields from the employees’ Basic Info, you can do so by clicking Show next to Additional Fields and selecting the information you need.
Once you are happy with the parameters you’ve set, click Show Excel to download the report. If you don't have Microsoft Excel installed, see the View Reports in Google Sheets help page.
